Raymond Weil

The Geneva-based brand belongs to the limited circle of Swiss watchmakers still in family hands. After 18 years of successful management Olivier Bernheim handed the role over to his son Elie Bernheim. Mr. Raymond Weil (Elie Bernheim’s grandfather) founded his company in 1976 which continues to develop and consolidate its status among the leading names of the Swiss watch industry.

Bulova

Joseph Bulova immigrated to America in 1870. At the age of 19, he opened his own jewelry store on Maiden Lance in Lower Manhattan, then the nucleus of New York City’s jewelry industry. He called it J. Bulova, and quickly distinguished himself with the quality and artistry of this work.

Victorinox

When my great-grandfather Karl Elsener opened a cutlery workshop to deliver a soldier knife to the Swiss army in 1884, he had a revolutionary idea in mind. He was looking for a compact and sturdy knife, which offered many functions combined in a single tool. What he invented has long become a legend: the Original Swiss Army Knife. Utilizing electrical power converted from virtually any light source, this extraordinary innovation changed forever the way watches could be powered. Eco-Drive eliminated the need to ever replace batteries, which made it especially beneficial to areas where such specialist batteries were not obtainable. This leveled the field for citizens of virtually every country to be able to experience unrestricted joy of wearing and using a CITIZEN watch. It was clear from the onset of this project that we are dedicated to this ideal…not to the past but to the present, and all the way we can improve it.
